Historical Lesson Plan Native American Boarding Schools

For my Understanding Schools Systems in the Fall of 2012, we were to create and give a lesson to the class on our assigned topic involving historical educational time periods. I was assigned Native American Boarding Schools, schools created in the 19th century to address the issues the nation had in concerns with the Native American population. We looked at the schools curriculum, their beliefs towards the Native American population, and the practices these schools held, putting much focus to the impact these schools had on Native American Society.

Grade Received: 9.62/10
